Aubrey Tuggle is currently the president and chief designer for Tuggle Design. She is responsible for all design activity, directs sales and marketing, operations, and construction that we perform.
Ms. Tuggle attended Steven F. Austin University where she graduated with a BS in Interior Design and was a member of the National Service Fraternity. Prior to forming Tuggle Design, Ms. Tuggle gained broad design and construction experience in a variety of diverse positions. She has worked with the architectural firm of JCW Wright, developing medical space designs for hospitals, physician’s offices, and outpatient clinics, and with Mike Land Building and Design in Dallas, Texas, contributing to multiple residential designs. She also worked with Trammel Crow to select specialty fabrics for use by the airline industry in passenger cabins, and has designed a variety of commercial and construction facilities including the design of truck washing bays for Halliburton Industries.
Ms. Tuggle expanded her interior design insight and capabilities in both the residential and commercial environment working as the top sales person at Dallas Desk. She has also developed ergonomic suites of office furniture to fit multiple body types and worked as a facilities planner and project manager for Frito Lay in Plano Texas, designing open landscape office space and coordinating relocation of multiple business groups to new facilities. She also enhanced her business skills working at various positions in Comerica Bank.
Ms. Tuggle’s specialty is to design not only function with integrity, but also to be flexible and creative enough to work within a builder’s and client’s budgets. Her goal is to utilize her knowledge and experience with green building, energy-efficient designs, and truly dynamic creativity to deliver a superior product to builders and homeowners alike.
Ms. Tuggle has worked alongside her husband, Kevin, to redesign Highland Park Cottage for a young family that needed more space and was committed to staying in their same location, but also didn’t want to build a contemporary big-box structure on a charming, tree-lined street. They stayed true to the architectural era represented in the neighborhood, and the homeowners told them how their neighbors had mentioned how well the home fits into the neighborhood. It was an auspicious beginning for their joint design work for now and in the future.
